wishes
...a poem i wrote a few weeks ago for my soulmate...
for all the sorrow and bitter tears
for flaring rage and paralyzing fears
for broken shards of shattered dreams
for unseen torment and unheard screams
for the pain of facing another day
i made a wish life would go away
so long and hard i wished to die
still i lived though i didn't know why
but i decided to give life another chance
and gave my wishes a different stance:
for all the love i never knew,
i made a wish... and you came true.

its been awhile.
